Hi there!

Hi! My name is Pasan, I am a software engineer with a passion for Front End development and a background in 3D Art. I am skilled in JavaScript, React/Redux, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, MongoDB, Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Unity, Unreal Engine, and more.

I worked alongside developers and data scientists for a long time, helping them to create applications and visualize data. And I came to love the creativity involved in programming and development, how every problem can be solved in multiple ways, and nothing ever has a one size fits all solution. This led to my attending App Academy - an intense, 1000+ software engineering bootcamp - which gave me the knowledge and ability to create Full Stack Applications on my own.

At App Academy, I created a single-page JavaScript application to show gameplay-related and biographical information about playable characters in Overwatch. I also created a full-stack application - a clone of TeaWithStrangers, and I am currently working alongside 3 other engineers on an app to help other developers practice Data Structures and Algorithms problems in a collaborative, coding environment.

I enjoy spending my free time playing video games, creating 3D art, and doing game development. I've always loved creating things and software engineering lets me learn new technologies and be creative at the same time.
